Testimonials
"In terms of background, I had interviewed a few piano teachers in my quest to meet my daughter’s interest in learning piano. Alysha was a stand out for a couple of reasons. She did a nice job of setting expectations for the lessons with both parent and child, she demonstrated her interest and acumen with piano, and she works well connecting with the child to both encourage and motivate during the lessons. I got the sense that she is truly interested in developing the child's interest and success with the piano and she is not just trying to collect a paycheck. She takes the teaching seriously and that distinguishes her in my mind from other teachers I have met.
My nine year old daughter has taken lessons...with Alysha Karle and has progressed noticeably during that time. My daughter finds the lessons enjoyable and covers aspects of sight reading, theory and technical skills. I like how she works even to ensure she is holding her hands, fingers and position correctly so she is set up for success now and down the road as she continues.
Alysha also makes it fun and does duets with my daughter on the piano – an experience that delights my daughter and motivates her to continue her learning and what fun it can be.
I have enjoyed Alysha’s effort so much that I have referred her as a piano instructor to other parents in our neighborhood who are seeking instruction for their children...I would like to recommend her as a knowledgeable piano teacher who works hard to meet my child’s unique needs."

"My 5 year old daughter started piano lessons with Alysha in June of 2015. My daughter quickly began to love playing and practicing the piano, and it is her favorite thing to do. I attribute a lot of this to Alysha. Alysha is so wonderful with her! What I love about Alysha is the way she works with young children. She is patient, kind, sweet, and always praising the small accomplishments while encouraging growth and commitment. If you have the chance to have Alysha work with your child, consider yourself lucky! We have just been heartbroken that she is moving away. Best wishes to Alysha and her future. My daughter will miss her!"

"Alysha had been teaching my girl piano for 2 years & it was our loss to know she was moving away. Alysha's teaching style is flexible & get along with my girl very well. She teaches in a fun way & seriously too. My girl likes her & respects her. She is the kind of piano teacher you will be appreciated to have for your kids.
We miss her already & wish her all our best."

"Alysha is caring, and kind. She was flexible with our family's schooling philosophy, and adjusted her approach to minister to the unique learning style of my child. When I recognized a need for a modification, she was open and willing to incorporate songs that my son had chosen, and he was newly invigorated. She is very patient and encouraging, and a good teacher! We are sorry to lose her."
